Some supporters have pointed out that the ‘right’ time to have dropped Khune would have been after his performance in the 4-0 beating by AmaZulu, not after last weekend’s 2-0 defeat by Mamelodi Sundowns.“As for Khune, well when Bvuma conceded four to Sundowns &amp; he was dropped the next match,” wrote @Alocohol_THC. “Petersen conceded four to Royal AM &amp; was dropped the next match. K“Khune conceded four to Amazulu he wasn't dropped next game &amp; we lost again. It's time he gets dropped.”

Hlehle Mgwaba agrees, believing that Bvuma should be the beneficiary of Khune’s axing.“Bvuma is better than both Khune and Peterson,” they wrote, “just needs to work on coming out on corners.”
