A-League All Stars: Who would make a North vs South game?

With Manchester United star Romelu Lukaku suggesting an American-style All-Star game for football, who would be picked for an A-League version?

The A-League All Stars concept has been dead since Juventus defeated a compilation of the Australian league's best players in 2014.

But after Lukaku's idea for a Premier League All Stars game dividing England into a north and south team, why couldn't we do the same in Australia?

The North XI, would be represented by Brisbane Roar, Newcastle Jets, Central Coast Mariners, Western Sydney Wanderers and Sydney FC.

While a South team would be comprised of Melbourne Victory, Melbourne City, Perth Glory, Adelaide United and Wellington Phoenix.
