The two-time Ballon d’Or winner’s highly anticipated project includes the release of a stunning new logo that intertwines the Barca star’s ‘A’ initial, with two 11s on either side forming a crown, representing her royal status in the sport.
The monogram - a modern and powerful design - provides a sharp and visually appealing aesthetic, reflecting the 140-cap international’s significant impact on the pitch over the years.
Nicknamed ‘La Reina’ or ‘grandmaster’ for her elegant playing abilities, Putellas, who is a three-time UEFA Women’s Champions League winner, has always inspired others - but she has also credited the icons who influenced her game, with one player in particular attracting her attention more than any other.

Her fondness for the number 11 stems from her time watching Barcelona as a child, particularly Brazilian legend Rivaldo, who inspired the World Cup winner years before she went on to join the Blaugranes herself.
“When I started watching Barca, I remember 11 was Rivaldo - a lefty,” she said. “I fell in love with that number. Everyone wants number 10, but 11 is special. When someone watches 11, I want them to think of Alexia.”
From a young age, Putellas has worked hard to master her craft, showcasing her world-class vision, mesmerising control and selfless versatility for well over a decade.
After rising through the ranks at Espanyol, the Catalonia-born technician earned her place at Barcelona in 2012, where she has since reached the peak of her powers, making over 330 appearances and netting over 150 goals for a side who have dominated Spanish football in her time there.

Now, with several more years of experience on the pitch, a cabinet full of silverware, and a hunger to make a difference away from the playing field, the multiple Ballon d’Or winner is keen to leave her mark in a unique way.
Only a select few have become synonymous with a specific number in the world’s most popular sport, but Putellas has earned her place at the top table and hopes to stretch her influence to every corner of the globe, becoming the world’s number 11.
The logo unveiling sees the legendary midfielder join fellow signature athletes and football’s biggest stars, Kylian Mbappe and Erling Haaland, as a shining example to the millions of fans who take inspiration from their dedication and drive to become the ultimate athletes.
