Kambole hit the back of the net three times for Zambia's Chipolopolo, who were defeated by Zimbabwe in the final of the regional tournament.

“There are a number of team especially from South Africa and the Middle East interested in him,” Mulenga told Lusaka Times.

Pirates currently have two Zambian players Augustine Mulenga and Justin Shonga on the books, while their Soweto rivals Chiefs are expected to beef up their squad ahead of the 2018/19 PSL season.

“But what we have told all of them is we are competing in the league and we are also competing in the Champions League and we wouldn’t want to sell our best players right now," he continued.

The Ndola-based club will only listen to offers for the highly-rated attacker in December 2018 having concluded their Champions League and Super Division campaigns.

“What we have told them is, talk to us in December," he concluded.

The 24-year-old forward has been in great form - scoring six goals for Zambia since making his debut for the national team in January, 2018.
