Wolfsburg vs Bayern Munich: TV channel, live stream, squad news & preview

Two sides going through a difficult period go head-to-head on Saturday as Wolfsburg take on a struggling Bayern Munich in the Bundesliga.

Die Wolfe have not won since the opening week of September, failing to take three points from any of their last five league games.

Bayern, meanwhile, are on a run of four matches without a win, although club chiefs held a press conference on Friday to come out in support of under-fire head coach Niko Kovac.

The champions are already four points behind leaders Borussia Dortmund and a third loss of the campaign would be a blow to their ambitions of winning a seventh league title in a row.

It had appeared that Kovac would be dismissed even before Bayern's trip to Wolfburg, but instead the club used a surprise press conference to attack the media for launching a negative campaign against their manager and players.

Prior to that media briefing, Kovac insisted that Bayern can turn their season around and that he was leaving no stone unturned in his attempts to improve their form.

"Life consists of failure and success," he said. "I can assure you that we have trained well. Everyone wants to play and win. We had many opportunities as in the first seven games but we could not exploit them. The atmosphere is positive. We need to stay positive.

"You can not assume that you lose three important players in the first three games. But I'm still convinced of the size and quality of the squad.

"I'm working more for my team, so I have no time for shaving now."
