Bakary Sako has started ‘full contact training’, according to West Bromwich Albion coach Darren Moore.
Since signing for the Hawthorns outfit on a free, after leaving Premier League side Crystal Palace, the striker has played just twice.
“He’s back in full contact training now. We’re pleased to have him back,” Moore said after Brentford draw on Monday.
“He’s only been back in full contact for two or three days. When they’ve been out you want to give them that volume in training, but he is back in full contact now.”
His return seems perfect with Hal-Robson Kanu forced off at the interval as Brentford halted their three-game winning run. The Wales striker is a doubt for the West Midlands derby.
