VIDEO: Paulinho winner gives Guangzhou edge in AFC Champions League

Sometimes scoring goals can be a matter of being in the right place at the right time.

That was the case for Brazilian midfielder Paulinho, who bagged the winner for Guangzhou Evergrande in their AFC Champions League round of 16 clash with Japanese side Kashima Antlers.

With the game scoreless, Paulinho got on the end of a corner kick that somehow made it through a host of bodies to the midfielder, who was crashing the six-yard box. He did not make a mistake and gave his team the edge in the 75th minute of the contest. The match would end 1-0.
