Ushuru FC have extended the contract of head coach Ken Kenyatta for another season.

Kenyatta was in charge of the team when they were relegated from the Kenyan Preemier League in 2016 and was in charge of the team in 2017 when they took part in the National Super League.

The taxmen missed their chance of returning to the top flight after they lost by a solitary goal to Vihiga United in the final match of last season.

Vihiga United were eventually promoted alongside Wazito FC, who finished second. Ushuru have now confirmed that they have extended Kenyatta’s stay.

“We retain Coach Ken Kenyatta as #UshuruFc head coach. Hongera coach,” the club wrote on their twitter handle.

Ushuru have started their campaign for promotion this term on a positive note after they beat Administration Police 2-0 last weekend.
