Ugandan giants KCCA name squad for Kenyan friendlies

KCCA are using the build-up matches as part of their preparation for continental assignments

Ugandan champions KCCA have released the squad that is set to play a number of build-up matches in Kenya.

KCCA arrived in the country on Friday and are set to take on Kenyan champions Gor Mahia in the first match on Saturday.

KCCA will then play Tusker on Monday at Ruaraka, AFC Leopards on Wednesday before winding up their Kenyan tour with a clash against Sofapaka at Narok Stadium on Friday.

Among the notable names in the squad are newly signed goalkeeper Tom Ikara, who was acquired from Kirinya Jinja SS and Shaddiq Shikyembe.

Just like Gor Mahia and Ingwe, the Kasasiro are using the build-up matches as part of their preparation for continental assignments.

KCCA will take on Madagascar's CNaPS Sport in Caf Champions League.
