It has now emerged that all is not well within AFC Leopards technical bench.
Head coach Rodolfo Zapata is said to be at loggerheads with his assistant Tom Juma and team manager Gilbert Selebwa. The disagreement saw Selebwa and Zapata exchange words before and after the league match against Posta Rangers in Machakos last Saturday.
The issue of contention on Saturday was coach Zapata’s insistence on fielding players, who hadn't trained well during the week.
“Oduro (Isaac) and Odera (Ezekiel) missed training last week but the coach insisted that they had to start the game against Posta Rangers. Selebwa and Juma were against the decision leading to the disagreement,” a source from the club told Goal.
The Argentine coach had earlier indicated that all was not okay in the team citing interference from some quarters. Efforts to get a comment from club officials proved futile.
