Tottenham's 2018-19 transfer activity

Spurs have been very quiet in the transfer window this summer with no new incoming players as of yet, but have recently tied down several key members of the squad and coaching staff with new long-term deals.

The north London side agreed a contract extension with star striker Harry Kane in June, and also penned fresh terms with the likes of Harry Winks, Davinson Sanchez and Michel Vorm. Additionally, they also signed a new deal with manager Mauricio Pochettino which ruled out any then-possibility of him leaving to coach Real Madrid.

The Premier League has confirmed that the 2018-19 season will get under way on Saturday August 11.

Fixtures were confirmed on June 14 and Tottenham must travel north to face Newcastle United at St James' Park in their opening game of the campaign.

Newly promoted Fulham are the visitors for Spurs' first home game of the season, and their last at Wembley, the following week and a trip to Old Trafford to face Manchester United is in store on matchday three.

Spurs then travel to Watford and a home game against Liverpool at their brand new stadium completes their first five fixtures of the season.

The first North London derby of the campaign will be held at the Emirates Stadium on December 1, with Spurs hosting the corresponding fixture on March 2, 2019.
