Squad & Team News

The Tshwane giants will be hoping to cut current league log leaders, Mamelodi Sundowns' lead to two points with a victory over Chiefs.

Kaitano Tembo will have to mastermind Amakhosi's downfall without his captain Dean Furman, who is set to serve his one-match suspension against the Soweto giants.

The Zimbabwean coach will look to in-form striker Mxolisi Macuphu, who has netted four goals in his last five league matches.

Meanwhile, Chiefs have been gradually improving as they are undefeated in their last four league matches having secured a 1-0 win over Maritzburg United at home on Saturday.

As a result, Amakhosi are placed seventh on the league standings - three points behind fourth-placed Bidvest Wits.

The Glamour Boys are keen to keep their slim hopes of winning this season's PSL title alive by defeating SuperSport which would see the team move closer to the top three sides.

Ernst Middendorp has no suspension worries, but Chiefs are still without experienced players Eric Mathoho and Lebogang Manyama, who are both out nursing injuries.

The German coach will be banking on Dumisani Zuma's scoring form with the forward having netted two goals in his last two league matches.
