Thika United's seamless fall in the Kenyan Premier League continued when they fell 3-0to Kariobangi Sharks on Wednesday.

It took William Muluya's side just three minutes to hit the back of the net courtesy of former Bandari FC striker George Abege, who was at the end of Moses Mwangi ball.

The perfect opportunity for Thika United came in moments later, but James Kinyanjui failed to beat former Western Stima man Gad Mathews. The visitors' custodian Allan Owiny was the busiest on the other end, denying the likes of Abege, and Duke Abuya from doubling the advantage.

Owiny's greates save came in the 22nd minute when he denied Mwangi who was sure to complete Abege's well brought in pass.

It seemed the match was headed to end at 1-0, but things changes with five minutes to go. Thika defender Asango Cetric failed to clear the ball well, and it fell to Duke Abuya, who finished it well.

The third for the hosts came deep into the stoppages courtesy of former FC Talanta man Erick Kapaito, who scored from the penalty spot.
