AFC Leopards are targeting a top-three finish in the Kenyan Premier League.
Ingwe moved joint third on the log following a 1-0 win over Vihiga United on Sunday.
The club chairman Dan Mule is crossing his fingers that Ingwe will hold to their current form until the end of the season.
"We working on finishing in the top three by the end of the season," Mule said as Ingwe prepares to send a second-string team to Tanzania for the Simba-Day tournament.
Leopards are fourth on 39 points, same as Bandari who enjoys a superior goal difference.
Rodolfo Zapata will next take on Mathare United on Sunday as they seek to keep pace with Bandari and second-placed Sofapaka.
After Mathare match, AFC Leopards will then depart for Tanzania for Simba-Day tournament set for August 8.
"We have about 30 players in the team, and we are currently using about 15 week in week out. The others have an opportunity to show what they have for the team.
“We believe the match against Simba will give the coach an opportunity to asses them and make a decision," Mule told Goal.
Ingwe suffered 4-0 lose when the two sides faced each other last in the same competition and the Rodolfo Zapata led side will be aiming at bouncing back.
