Sebastien Migne has admitted that Harambee Stars played a 'boring' game in their first half against Malawi on Tuesday.

Francis Kahata saved Kenya with a late second half goal to hand coach Migne back to back wins after Saturday's 1-0 win against Ghana's Black Stars at the same venue.

The tactician, however, was unimpressed with the overall display of his boys in the opening stanza even as the Frenchman once again called on Kenyan fans to rally behind the team.

“In the first half, it was boring. One thousand excuses for that but some time is difficult to learn high level. We need to learn to bring the fans with us; to be there, because if we have a chance to be in the (2019) Afcon, then will not be there with players alone.

“I hope to see a full stadium against Ethiopia,” concluded the Frenchman in a post-match interview. Kenya will take on Ethiopia on October 10 away before hosting the Walya Antelopes three days later in Nairobi in the Afcon qualifiers.

Kenya are second in the Group F and maximum points against Ethiopia will put them on track as the East African nation still waits for a first trip to the continental showpiece since 2004.
