The Red Devils continue their search for a centre-back as discussions with Benfica's Victor Lindelof have slowed in recent weeks

Inter have entered the race to sign Manchester United target Kostas Manolas from Roma, according to Calcio Mercato.

Jose Mourinho and his higher-ups are willing to spend up to £50 million to land the Greek defender, though the San Siro club are interested in a deal as Stefano Pioli looks to reshape his squad in the summer.

United have been working hard to secure a deal for Benfica centre-half Victor Lindelof, however with talks said to have slowed down, Mourinho is working on alternative targets.
