AFC Leopards head coach Rodolfo Zapata is not expecting an easy outing against Kariobangi Sharks in a league outing on Tuesday.

Ingwe downed Posta Rangers 2-1 on Saturday with Sharks defeating Nakumatt 5-2 a day later. The Argentine is optimistic that his team will emerge tops at the end of the day, but he knows his charges have to step up.

“Sharks are currently high on confidence after their huge win against Nakumatt, and a few weeks ago they had defeated Gor Mahia in the Shield Cup, so they are on high spirits. It is not going to be an easy match for us, and we have to work harder if we are to get a win.

“We have our own style of play right now, and that is what we are going to stick to; we create chances and the only thing we can do to ensure we get maximum points is by taking them,” Zapata told Goal.

AFC Leopards are aiming at a top two finish by the end of the season.
