Real Madrid v Levante Betting Tips: Latest odds, team news, preview and predictions

Real Madrid host Levante in La Liga's early kick off on Saturday in desperate need of a win.

The European champions have gone four matches in all competitions without victory and to make matters worse, they have failed to score in any of those four games.

Last season Los Blancos did not beat Levante in either of their two contests, drawing 1-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu at 2-2 at the Ciutat de Valencia stadium.

Team news

Gareth Bale went on international duty with Wales, but did not feature in either of his country's matches during the international break so should play here.

Julen Lopetegui should be able to call upon the services of Isco and Marcelo, who have been missing, but Dani Carvajal is likely to still be out.

Levante will be without right-back Coke and forward Armando Sadiku.

Preview

Real Madrid are currently on their worst goal drought for 33 years, something they need to end quickly and emphatically on Saturday.

Levante have not won any of their last 11 matches against the side from the capital, conceding on average three goals per game during that period, so in theory they are a good opponent for Madrid to face as they look to get back on track.

However, it might take Madrid a while to get going, with the unfamiliar early kick-off time an important factor to consider.

Tips and predictions

The price of 5/6 (1.83) for no goal before 20 minutes looks like being an excellent option, especially considering the form of Lopetegui's men coming into the game.

It is a game they should win, and while they will want an early goal it could be a case of them having to be patient once more. This selection has paid out in four of their last five matches in La Liga and could well prove profitable once more.
