Rangers host PSV in the first leg of their Champions League playoff clash on Tuesday. The two sides battle it out for a place in the group stage of the competition and there are no big favourites heading into the clash at Ibrox.

Both teams are off to an excellent start to the season, having won all of their domestic matches so far.

Rangers vs PSV latest odds

Rangers are just slight favourites to get the victory on home soil, with bet365 offering odds of 31/10 (2.55).

PSV, meanwhile, are 17/10 (2.7) to take an advantage back to Eindhoven. The draw is offered at 23/10 (3.3).

Rangers vs PSV first goal scorer odds

Luuk de Jong was the first goal scorer on Saturday as PSV ran out 5-2 winners against Go Ahead Eagles in the Eredivisie. He is the favourite to get the first goal of this game, too, with bet365 offering 5/1 (6.0).

Rangers stars Alfredo Morelos and Fashion Sakala are the lowest-priced players on the home team to score the opening goal at 11/2 (6.5).

Rangers vs PSV preview

PSV are off to a great start under new coach Ruud van Nistelrooy. The Eindhoven side beat Ajax 5-3 in their first competitive game of the campaign to claim the Johan Cruyff Shield.

They are top of the Eredivisie after two games, having scored nine goals to amass six points so far, plus they overcame Monaco in the previous round of the Champions League qualifying rounds.

Van Nistelrooy will go head-to-head with his former Netherlands team-mate Giovanni van Bronckhorst, who has guided Rangers to a bright start to the new campaign.

The Europa League finalists have three wins from three in the Premiership, having beaten St Johnston 4-0 at the weekend, so they, too, will be high in confidence heading into this match.

Rangers vs PSV tips and predictions

Both teams are in fine goal scoring form so far this season, though PSV have proven to have a bit of a leaky defence. Thus, backing both teams to score at 8/11 (1.73) looks a good bet.
