Premier League Betting: Chelsea set to challenge Man City in Dual Forecast market

Manchester City are clear favourites to claim the Premier League crown for a second successive season.

With Pep Guardiola's men as short as 4/6 (1.67) with William Hill to take the title, punters may be tempted by the dual forecast market in search of value.

The dual forecast market provides the chance to bet on which sides will finish in the top two, but without the necessity of predicting the exact order.

Reds ready?

William Hill offer 2/1 (3.0) that Jurgen Klopp's charges end the season in the top two alongside City.

The men from Merseyside were beaten in the Champions League final last season but have added Fabinho, Alisson, Naby Keita and Xherdan Shaqiri to their squad so far this summer.

Liverpool could therefore be set to mount a credible challenge on the domestic front, having not done so since 2013/14.

Manchester domination continues

It has been a frustrating summer for Manchester United and manager Jose Mourinho has already expressed plenty of dissatisfaction with his team.

The Old Trafford side emerged as the main challengers to Guardiola's all-conquering side last term and William Hill go 3/1 (4.0) that the bitter rivals end the season as the Premier League's top two once more.

London calling

Chelsea are under new management this term, with Maurizio Sarri taking up the reins from Antonio Conte.

Sarri steered Napoli to second place in Serie A behind Juventus last term and William Hill go 5/1 (6.0) that the Blues challenge Manchester City for the title this time around.

Tottenham Hotspur have yet to add to their squad this summer and Mauricio Pochettino's men are a 6/1 (7.0) shot in the dual forecast market with City.

Arsenal have a new man in the dugout for the first time in more than 20 years as Unai Emery replaces Arsene Wenger

The odds compilers, though, feel that the former Paris Saint-Germain boss will have his work cut out to get the Gunners into the title race; indeed, William Hill offer 14/1 (15.0) that they finish in the top two along with City.

Prediction

With doubts surrounding a number of their rivals, Manchester City could cruise to a second successive title, but value could lie in backing the Blues.

Chelsea are not hamstrung by the rigours of Champions League football this term and at 5/1 (6.0) , are excellent value to emerge as the main challengers to Guardiola's charges.
