Papiss Cisse and Mbaye Diagne found the back of the net in Alanyaspor’s 2-1 victory over Kasimpasa in Sunday’s Turkish Super Lig game.
Cisse who teamed up with Mesut Bakkal’s men from Chinese Super League side Shandong Luneng in August, scored a brace in his third appearance for the side.
The former Newcastle United striker got the opener in the 45th minute. The 33-year-old then notched his second in the 87th minute before Diagne got a consolatory goal for the home team two minutes later.
Both players featured for the entire duration alongside Tunisia international Syam Ben Youssef who was also on parade for the Apaches with Nigerian forward Samuel Eduok a 70th-minute substitute.
With the result, Alanyaspor climbed to the ninth spot in the league log with nine points from six games while Kasimpasa occupy the third spot with 12 points from the same numbers of matches.
Next up, the Apaches clash with Trabzonspor and Alanyaspor take on Akhisarspor - both games on September 29.
