Our best wasn't good enough against Enugu Rangers, says ABS' Chindo

ABS FC's Abubakar Chindo says his side didn't play well enough in a 1-0 defeat against Enugu Rangers at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium on Wednesday.

It was Daniel Etor's lone goal that silenced the Saraki boys in Enugu and the player admitted their dreams for victory were scattered by the Flying Antelopes.

"We all tried our best, but I think our best wasn't good enough," Chindo told media.

"We came here in Enugu and at worse get a draw. The officiating was fair and we appreciate Rangers for the good host.''

However, the former Kogi United midfielder believes ABS FC are strongly in the mix for the title challenge this season.

"Our target is to finish top or second because we are aiming for a continental ticket.

"I believe we can get there with the way our coaches train us and the way we play as a unit. I think if we continue this way we can achieve it.”
