The 30-year-old player has established himself as one of Phunya Sele Sele's key players since arriving at the club in January, 2014.

Ndengane joined Celtic intially on loan from National First Division (NFD) side FC Cape Town. Phunya Sele Sele purchased him prior to the 2014/15 season.

Pirates are said to have already opened talks with Celtic as they look to beef up coach Kjell Jonevret's squad.

However, the Free State giants are reportedly not willing to Ndengane ahead of the 2017/18 campaign which starts next month.

Ndengane is contracted to Phunya Sele Sele until June, 2019 having signed a new three-year deal with the club last year.
