OFFICIAL: Cape Town City confirm Lyle Lakay signing

The Citizens' 2017/18 season preparations continue with the unveiling of yet another signing

Cape Town City have snapped up unsettled Bloemfontein Celtic winger Lyle Lakay on a three-year deal following the expiry of his contract with the Free Staters.

The deal puts an end to months of speculation regarding the Capetonian's future, where he has been linked to the likes of Bidvest Wits as well.

The PSL champions have now been beaten by the Citizens, who are looking to build on to last season's impressive debut display.

City took to their twitter feed on Saturday morning to confirm the arrival of the 25-year-old former South African junior international.

He becomes their third signing after Ayanda Patosi and Mozambican defender Jeitoso.
