Nordin Amrabat sends heartfelt message to relegated Malaga

The Albicelestes have been demoted to the second tier of the Spanish league, ending their 10-year stay in the Spanish top-flight

Leganes winger Nordin Amrabat has sent a heartfelt message to Malaga after Thursday’s defeat to Levante confirmed their relegation from LaLiga.

Jose Gonzalez's side will play in the Segunda division next season after losing 1-0 defeat at the Estadio Ciudad de Valencia.

Malaga sit at the bottom of the league table with just 17 points from 33 league games this season.

And the Morocco international who spent two seasons at La Rosaleda before moving to Watford in January 2016 has urged his former club to fight their way back to the Spanish top-flight.

“I encourage everyone at Malaga and hope that you return to where you deserve soon. A hug to the malaguista family,” Amrabat wrote Instagram.
