'Nigeria need to score a lot of goals' vs. Seychelles - Henry Onyekuru

The Galatasaray forward said to be in a safe position, the Super Eagles have to bury many chances against Gavin Jeanne's side

'Nigeria need to score a lot of goals' against Seychelles as they aim to overcome a bad start in their 2019 Afcon qualifying campaign.

The Super Eagles are third in Group E standings after suffering a shocking 2-0 loss at home to South Africa last year June.

Meanwhile, Libya scored five goals to dispatch the Pirates in their opening game, and sit atop the log.

And Onyekuru, likely set for a big role in the tie, said the team does not only need to win but to put as many goals past the East African minnows as the group might later be decided on goals.

“The game here is the most important, not just for me, but also the team. We are looking forward to playing a good game and to also make the country proud with a win,” Onyekuru told media.

“We need to score a lot of goals, we never can tell how that will play out at the end when we look ahead to the next game next month.

“Victory here in Seychelles is important," he concluded.
