Omeruo and Balogun were in action for Gernot Rohr's men when they held South Africa to a 1-1 draw in Saturday's 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualification game, with Aina unlisted for the clash.
However, Omeruo has been granted permission to leave the team base for
Balogun, on his part, has struggled for playing time at club level since his arrival at Brighton and Hove Albion from Mainz in the summer and he has been excused to join Chris Hughton's to prepare for Saturday league game against Leicester City.
"They have been excused from today's game. Omeruo for personal reasons, Aina for slight knock and Balogun to allow him more time to be with his club ahead of this weekend's Premier League game," Super Eagles media officer, Toyin Ibitoye told Goal.
Udinese's William Troost-Ekong, Lokomotiv Moscow's Brian Idowu, Rotherham United's Semi Ajayi, Paderborn's Jamilu Collins and FC Ifeanyi Ubah's Olamilekan Adeleye are available defensive options for Gernot Rohr who switched to a three-man defence against Bafana Bafana on Saturday.
Having qualified for the 2019 Afcon in Cameroon, Nigeria will aim to start their preparation with a win against the east African nation who have also booked their spot in the biennial showpiece.
