Nedbank Cup Quarter-Final Draw: Chiefs host SuperSport, Pirates welcome Celtic

Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates have been pitted against SuperSport United and Bloemfontein Celtic respectively in the 2016/17 Nedbank Cup quarter-finals.

The highly anticipated draw took place at the SuperSport studios in Randburg, Johannesburg on Monday evening.

Amakhosi are the most decorated club in the history of this tournament with 13 titles and they will host the defending champions SuperSport.

Matsatsantsa beat ABC Motsepe side KwaDukuza United in the last 16 clash, while Chiefs overcame ABC Motsepe outfit Acornbush United.

Another interesting quarter-final tie is between the eight-time champions Pirates and Celtic, with the latter visiting the Buccaneers.

Phunya Sele Sele edged out National First Division (NFD) side Mbombela United in the last 16 encounter, while Bucs hammered Free State Stars.

The only NFD side left in this season's competition, Jomo Cosmos will travel to the Eastern Cape Province to take on Chippa United.
