Ajax Cape Town coach Muhsin Ertugral believes they can win this weekend’s PSL clash with Cape Town City.

The newly appointed Ajax gaffer will come up against some of the players he unearthed at the defunct Mpumalanga Black Aces.

“City are playing good football and I have great memories of some of their players from my time with them at Black Aces. It will be a good game, but I am confident we can pull it off,” Ertugral told IOL.

Zimbabwean Tendai Ndoro made his debut in the 3-1 win over Platinum Stars last Friday, and he found the back of the net.

Ertugral is optimistic in the striker’s abilities having worked with Ndoro at Aces and Orlando Pirates.

“Ndoro is a player who is always in an angle in the build-up process, which is why he is able to open up the lines for himself and other players,” he added.

“Going forward, we have about seven or eight pass patterns that we use, and Ndoro is aware of them. We still need to perfect the patterns, but Ndoro is going to do well for us,” Ertugral concluded.
