“I think last season, he was very unfortunate because of the injury he suffered. It kept him out on the sidelines for such a long spell,” Motale told Goal.
The Bafana Bafana international's start to this season has seen him gradually regain his authority in the heart of the team’s midfield.
Manyisa, 28, has played 14 games in all competitions this season and scored two goals including one in the 2-1 loss to Bloemfontein Celtic late last year.
Motale hopes Manyisa has fully recovered from his long-term injury, but he is adamant Bucs fans will see the best of him.
“I think he has done well so far. I just hope that he has fully recovered from the (long-term) injury. But I think we will see the best of him this season,” Motale concluded.
Bucs currently lie outside the top eight in the league after just a series of poor results before the mid-season break.
But the Soweto giants have a chance to regain their spot in the top half when they face Bidvest Wits in two weeks time.
