Liverpool vs Maribor: TV channel, stream, kick-off time, odds & match preview

Liverpool will attempt to pick up their second win in Group E when they face Maribor at Anfield on Wednesday as they strive to reach the knock-out stage of the Champions League.

Jurgen Klopp's side are joint-top of the group after three games, but they have drawn twice - against Spartak Moscow and Sevilla - with their only victory coming away to Maribor in October.

They will hope to repeat their Slovenian performance at home as the group gears up for a tight finish this month.

GAME PREVIEW

Liverpool set a club record with their 7-0 win over Maribor a number of weeks ago and they will be confident in their ability to see off the challenge of the Slovenians, particularly at home.

However, the Reds' form has been severely patchy of late and Klopp's side have struggled to string a series of positive results together, a fact that has seen them drop further out of the Premier League title race.

Nevertheless, having lost 4-1 to Tottenham earlier in October, Liverpool bounced back with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Huddersfield last weekend and they will hope to record back-to-back wins for the first time since August by beating Maribor.

Injuries to key players such as Adam Lallana, Sadio Mane and Philippe Coutinho disrupted their early-season momentum, but, with six games to play in November leading into a busy December, it is crucial that they begin to find some consistency, and they can get the month off to a positive start at home.
