Liverpool Team News: Injuries, suspensions and line-up vs West Brom

Europe may be where the excitement is at for Liverpool fans, but their Premier League season still needs completing.

And there's a top-four place to be sealed, too.

This weekend, the Reds head to West Bromwich Albion, the bottom club, looking to take another step closer.

The Baggies were buoyed by Sunday's win at Old Trafford, but their relegation could be sealed with a defeat at the Hawthorns on Saturday.

Here, Goal takes a look at everything you need to know ahead of the latest meeting...

Liverpool injuries

Liverpool have plenty of concerns at the moment, and with the Champions League semi-final first leg with Roma to come next Tuesday, Jurgen Klopp will be eager to ensure there are no more injuries picked up this weekend.

He is already without Joel Matip (thigh), Adam Lallana (hamstring) and Emre Can (back), while Nathaniel Clyne missed last weekend's win over Bournemouth.

Dejan Lovren was substituted in that game having "felt something" but Liverpool are hopeful the injury is not serious. Joe Gomez could be fit to return to the squad after an ankle problem.

Liverpool suspensions

Liverpool do not have any suspended players for this game. Jordan Henderson will return having been banned from the game with City.

Liverpool potential starting line-up

Klopp sprung something of a surprise by naming a virtually unchanged side last time out, with Jordan Henderson for James Milner the only alteration.

Will he be so bold again with Roma on the horizon? It is easy to see a couple of rotations, certainly. Ragnar Klavan should replace Lovren at centre-back, as Liverpool look to give the Croatian time to recover from the 'muscle tightness' he felt against Bournemouth.

Alberto Moreno could, if required, come in for Andy Robertson at left-back, and Gomez could return at right-back, while Milner is likely to play a part in midfield, probably at the expense of Gini Wijnaldum.

The big question, perhaps, is how many of the front three are risked. All looked sharp against Bournemouth, but an injury to any now would be a sizeable blow to the Reds' ambitions. Dominic Solanke played and scored for the U23s on Monday, but is without a senior goal at Liverpool so far.

West Brom team news

The Baggies have injury concerns over Jonny Evans, who has a knee injury, while James Morrison and Gareth Barry will both miss out.

Hal Robson-Kanu is another absentee, while Daniel Sturridge is ineligible to play against his parent club despite returning to action as a substitute against Manchester United last weekend.
