The 21-year-old is returning to the club where he scored once in nine outings after joining them on loan for the second half of last season.

Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak has grown disillusioned with his club and is unlikely to sign a new contract, claims AS

Oblak attracted attention from both Liverpool and Chelsea in the summer, but stayed put while the Premier League duo swooped for Alisson and Kepa. 

But after more than 12 months of stalled contract negotiations, his patience has now run out with those in charge at Atletico.


Monaco snap up Leverkusen youngster Henrichs


Monaco have signed Benjamin Henrichs from Bayer Leverkusen.

The 21-year-old right-back, who can also play on the left and in midfield, has signed a five-year contract with the Ligue 1 side reached an agreement worth a reported €20 million (£18m/$23m) with €5m more in add-ons.

Barcelona's Rafinha set for Betis loan


Rafinha will be released by Barcelona on loan to Betis for the 2018-19 season, according to Sport

The midfielder enjoyed a productive temporary switch at Inter earlier this year, as he continues to find minutes to come by in Camp Nou. 

And he will now star for Betis, with the deal expected to be signed on Wednesday.

Torreira could have signed for Arsenal - agent


The agent of young Arsenal star Lucas Torreira has revealed that the midfielder had the chance to join Napoli over the summer before opting for the Emirates Stadium.

Sevilla admit defeat to Real Madrid in Mariano chase


Real Madrid are set to sign their former striker Mariano Diaz, who appears to have had a change of heart over a switch from Lyon to Sevilla.

Mariano left Madrid for Lyon last year in a reported €8 million deal and the Ligue 1 side's president Jean-Michel Aulas denied reports the transfer included a buy-back option last November.

The striker made a great start to life in France, scoring 18 league goals in 2017-18 , but he has not found the net since April.

Paco Alcacer seals Dortmund loan move


Borussia Dortmund have completed the signing of Paco Alcacer on loan with an option to buy from Barcelona.

The attacker had a medical at the German club on Tuesday after the two sides reached an agreement. Dortmund pay €2 million up front for the loan before handing over a further €23m to make the deal permanent, though the Catalan side can reject that offer.

Marcelo keen on joining Ronaldo at Juventus


Real Madrid star Marcelo would jump at the chance to join friend Cristiano Ronaldo at Juventus next season, according to Tuttosport

While the forward was allowed to move to Turin in a blockbuster deal, Marcelo has been declared unsellable this window by the Merengue. 

But in 2019-20 that all could change, with the Brazilian's great relationship with CR7 Juve's most valuable card in negotiations.


Marseille seal €25m Strootman deal


Marseille have secured the signature of Dutch midfielder Kevin Strootman from Roma for a fee in the region of €25 million (£23m/$29m), plus bonuses.

The 28-year-old had been linked with a move away from the Serie A outfit to the Ligue 1 club and joins Rudi Garcia’s side on a five-year deal.

Sterling has previously expressed interest in a move abroad

Real Madrid have renewed their interest in Manchester City star Raheem Sterling, claims Sky Sports.

Sterling is currently holding out for a new deal at the Etihad Stadium after starring in City's march to the Premier League title last season. 

And Madrid are expected to have scouts in attendance over the international break to see him in action for England.

Inter to tie Miranda to fresh terms


Inter are preparing to hand Miranda a new contract despite being unable to offer the defender a regular starting berth, reports Calciomercato.

The 33-year-old Brazil international has been at San Siro since 2015.

Zappacosta considering Chelsea future


David Zappacosta is mulling over his options at Chelsea, with the defender admitting that he may have to move on after already attracting interest from Inter.

He told Corriere dello Sport: “Could I return to Italy? Yes, Inter had been after me."

Turkish outfit Fenerbahce have denied holding an interest in Tottenham midfielder Moussa Sissoko.

A statement released by the club read: "Regarding a transfer of Moussa Sissoko to our club, there has been no contact with the player, the manager or the club."

Nelson leaving Arsenal for Germany


Arsenal starlet Reiss Nelson is expected to join Hoffenheim this month, Goal understands.

Manchester United will continue to back manager Jose Mourinho despite his future being called into question, claims The Guardian.

A 3-0 defeat to Tottenham has piled further pressure onto the Portuguese coach, with the Red Devils enduring their worst start to a season in 26 years.

Mourinho did, however, pen a new deal at Old Trafford in January and his board remain convinced that he is the right man for the job.

Celtic are considering a move to take Douglas Luiz on loan from Manchester City, reports the Herald.

The Brazilian midfielder is facing another season of frustration at the Etihad Stadium after being denied a work permit so could be tempted to take in another loan, after spending last season with Girona.

Madrid could hijack Sevilla's Mariano deal


Real Madrid could swoop in to re-acquire Mariano from Lyon, blocking Sevilla from landing the striker, reports Marca.

Sevilla are hoping to sign Mariano for €30 million (£27m/$35m) from the Ligue 1 side, but Madrid have the right to first refusal that extends 48 hours after a deal has been agreed to.

Madrid also have a sell-on clause that would see them net €12m from the sale if he does move to Sevilla, but the European Champions may decide having the player is worth more than that additional fee. 


Real Madrid goalkeeper Lunin loaned to Leganes


Real Madrid youngster Andriy Lunin will play the 2018-19 season at Leganes after the two clubs agreed a loan deal for the goalkeeper. 

The arrival of Thibaut Courtois pushed the Ukrainian further down in the club's pecking order between the posts, with the ex-Chelsea man, Navas and Kiko Casilla providing ample cover for the coming season. 

And rather than send Lunin to the Castilla feeder club in Spain's third tier, the Merengue have opted to let him hone his trade at one of their Liga rivals.

Valencia seal €40m Guedes transfer from PSG


Goncalo Guedes is returning to Valencia on a permanent deal after the Spanish club finally reached an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain for his transfer.

Guedes played on loan at Valencia last season and was a revelation, particularly in the first half of the campaign when the club threatened to mount a title challenge.

While neither Valencia nor Paris Saint-Germain have commented on the value of the purchase, Guedes will reportedly move for a fee in the region of €40 million (£36.2m/$46.7m).

Man Utd rejected Milan and Atletico Martial bids


The forward is stuck in a power struggle between Jose Mourinho and Ed Woodward

Anthony Martial wants to leave Manchester United, but the club has rejected bids from AC Milan and Atletico Madrid, reports RMC Sport.

Jose Mourinho wanted to sell Martial to fund his hunt for a new centre-back, but Ed Woodward and many at the club value Martial's potential and want to sign him to a new contract.

Woodward and co. do not want a repeat of what happened to Mohamed Salah and Kevin De Bruyne under Mourinho at Chelsea, with both players sold only to return to the Premier League and star for other clubs.

Rangers targeting £2m winger


Rangers are hoping to bring in Eros Grezda on a £2 million deal from Croatian top-flight side Osijek, according to the Daily Express.

The left-sided Albania international is a direct replacement for Jamie Murphy, who is out for the season.

Grezda would be Steven Gerrard's third signing from the Croatian top flight this summer and second from Osijek after Borna Barasic joined earlier in August.

Nice looking into Trapp loan


Nice are considering the possibility of trying to sign Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Kevin Trapp on loan, according to France Football.

New Nice head coach Patrick Vieira has identified the goalkeeper position as a problem and wanted Joe Hart on loan before the keeper headed to Burnley.

With Trapp dropped in the pecking order at PSG with Gianluigi Buffon's arrival, Vieira is hoping to lure the German to the club.



Grealish to hold contract talks with Aston Villa


Jack Grealish is set to hold contract talks with Aston Villa in September following the club blocking his exit to Tottenham, according to the Daily Mirror.

The midfielder was a target for Spurs' but the Premier League side saw repeated bids knocked back after a successful take over of Villa injected funds into the club.

Grealish, who has two years left on his current contract, is in line to see his £20,000-a-week ($26K) salary at least doubled in a new deal. 

Spurs' Sissoko wanted by Fenerbahce


Tottenham midfielder Moussa Sissoko is wanted by Turkish Super Lig side Fenerbahce on loan, according to The Sun.

Damien Comolli, the former director of football at Spurs, is now at the Turkish club and driving the push to land Sissoko, whose contract runs through to 2021.

Fenerbahce would be interested in a loan this window, but with an option to making the move permanent.
