M'Baye Niang is leaving Torino on loan, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

The winger is moving Stade Rennais for the season just a year after joining the Serie A side. 

Swansea want Bony out as Galatasaray circle


Swansea City have decided they want to sell Wilfried Bony, with Galatasaray ready to make an offer, Goal understands. 

Bony scored two goals in 15 appearances last season as the Swans were relegated to the Championship. 

Though the Ivorian striker has expressed a desire to stay with Swansea, the club are prepared to let him go at a cut-price rate.

Real Madrid sign Lyon striker Mariano


Real Madrid have signed Lyon striker Mariano Diaz in a deal worth €30 million (£27m/$35m).

Mariano left Madrid for Lyon a year ago for €8m, and Madrid have activated their buy-back option after the striker scored 18 league goals in 2017-18.

Marchisio set for Porto or Benfica


Former Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio is set for a move to either Porto or Benfica, Goal understands.

The 32-year-old left Juve earlier this month, and drew interest from Sporting CP before the club eventually turned to other targets. 

But Marchisio still has suitors in Portugal and his family are very much open to the idea of living in Lisbon, possibly giving Benfica the advantage over Porto.

Martial to sign new Man Utd deal


The French attacker now believes he will outlast Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford

Anthony Martial is set to sign a new five-year Manchester United deal, reports The Times.

The 22-year-old has been offered the new contract despite his public feuding with manager Jose Mourinho, which has led to reports he could be ready to leave Old Trafford. 

But Martial will now sign the deal, as he believes he will last longer at United than the increasingly under-pressure Mourinho. 

Loftus-Cheek & Abraham set for loan moves


Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Tammy Abraham could be set to leave Chelsea this week on loan.

New Blues boss Maurizio Sarri feels his squad is still too large and will have the final say on which players leave the club during the remainder of the transfer window.

Tuchel picked Bernat over Felipe Luis


Paris Saint-Germain coach Thomas Tuchel was behind the club's move for Juan Bernat, RMC reports.

Given the choice of the Bayern Munich man or Felipe Luis, he went with the Spaniard because he is used to playing a left wing-back role in the style of Pep Guardiola.

Tuchel wants to implement a similar system in Paris and, therefore, believes the younger man is better suited.

Lyon eye Dembele and Pepe as Mariano replacement


With Marian Diaz heading back to Spain, either to Real Madrid or Sevilla, Lyon are hunting for a replacement forward, L'Equipe reports.

Moussa Dembele of Celtic is one option they are looking at, while the other is Lille forward Nicolas Pepe.

With Mariano expected to fetch up to €40m (£36m/$47m), Lyon should have the finances to sign either. 

Barcelona still hopeful over Pogba move


Man Utd could still lose France ace

Barcelona are still hopeful they can sign Paul Pogba, Sport reports, although they are pessimistic it will be this summer.

The Frenchman could leave Old Trafford in January, or perhaps after the 2018-19 season has concluded.

Barca are also still keen on Frenkie de Jong, who has said he will stay at Ajax, and PSG's Adrien Rabiot, who is out of contract next summer.

The Catalans want to sign two of those players.

Spanish second-division side UD Ibiza are keen to sign Antonio Cassano, per AS.

The Segunda B side have already signed Marco Borriello, and wish to pair the Italian with the former Real Madrid star.

Yaya Toure agrees Olympiakos return


Yaya Toure has agreed to return to Olympiakos as a free agent, per the Daily Mirror.

Toure's agent had suggested he could move to a London club, but he is instead set to return to Greece, where he spent the 2005-06 season, and earn £2 million-per-season.

PSG eye late Milinkovic-Savic move


PSG are negotiating a late deal for Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, according to Paris United.

The Lazio midfielder has attracted interest from the likes of Manchester United and Chelsea, but PSG are hopeful of stealing a march on their rivals by attracting the star to the French capital. 

McAuley destined for Scotland move?


Northern Ireland veteran Gareth McAuley could make a move to Scottish Premiership leaders Hearts, according to the Sun.

The 38-year-old former WBA man is wanted as cover to the injured Christophe Berra.

Meanwhile, Aberdeen could move for him if Celtic sign Scott McKenna, while Steven Gerrard's Rangers see him as potential cover in their ranks, too.

Real Madrid could make late defender move


Real Madrid boss Julen Lopetegui will move for another defender if Jesus Vallejo departs. 

Real Sociedad are trying to sign the player on loan, and if they are successful, it is to depart, Mario Hermoso of Espanyol is his likely replacement.

Everton and Zenit St Petersburg previously wanted the former Blancos academy player.

Sevilla close to Portu signing


After missing out on Mariano Diaz, who will sign for Real Madrid, Sevilla will snap up Girona forward Portu, COPE reports.

Real Sociedad also want the attacker, but Sevilla have bid €20m (£18m/$23m) for the player, €5m more than their rivals.

La Real could move for Everton's Sandro instead.

'I would say that he will stay' - Hoeness sees Boateng stay


Jerome Boateng will not leave Bayern Munich this summer, Uli Hoeness has claimed.

PSG remain interested in the Germany international centre-back, but FCB are confident of keeping hold of the veteran.

"If you want to hear my feeling tonight, I would say that he will stay in Munich," Hoeness said.

Loftus-Cheek angry loan bids were snubbed


Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek has been left furious with the club that loan bids from Monaco and Schalke were knocked back, The Sun reports.

The England man is fearful that a lack of first-team football could cost him his place in the national team.

While that will be hard to come by at Stamford Bridge, clubs on the continent were willing to give him a chance but their offers for a temporary deal have thus far been rebuffed. 

With the European window still open, a move remains possible, though unlikely.

Barcelona are ready to make a bid for Ronald Araujo of Boston River, Ovacion reports.

The Uruguay Under-20 captain is a centre-back and will cost in the region of €5 million (£4.5m/$6.8m).

Olympic champion sprinter Usain Bolt is set to be given game time in a Central Coast Mariners friendly as he attempts to get a contract with the A-League club.

Timbers midfielder loaned to Portugal


The Portland Timbers have loaned midfielder Eryk Williamson to Portuguese first-division side Clube Desportivo Santa Clara for the season, the club announced on Tuesday.  

In his first season with the club the 21-year-old made 15 appearances for the Portland's USL side. 

Union send winger to Turkey


The Philadelphia Union sent midfielder Eric Ayuk to Turkish First League club Osmanlispor FK, the club announced on Tuesday

The 21-year-old played in 29 league matches over three seasons with the club. 

LAFC's Ciman transfers to Dijon


Los Angeles FC has announced that defender Laurent Ciman has joined Dijon in Ligue 1. 

The 33-year-old joined the expansion side from the Montreal Impact prior to the 2018 season, and started all 22 games in which he appeared.

Alexandre Lacazette is considering leaving Arsenal this month, Le10 Sport reports.

The French striker is unhappy with his role on the Gunners' bench and does not expect to be given a chance in the starting XI this season.

As European clubs have a few days left before the transfer window closes, Lacazette's agent has already been in touch to notify clubs of his situation, but Arsenal will not want to lose a player they cannot replace.

The midfielder is a free agent after leaving Manchester City and had been linked to West Ham, and while Dimitriy Selkurk stopped short of revealing the club, he says Toure is not joining Manuel Pellegrini's team or Crystal Palace.

The prospect of Mourinho being axed is being discussed in the dressing room, with rumours of Zinedine Zidane's interest in replacing him also demanding their attention.

Salah, Kane & Lozano on Barcelona shortlist


Barcelona have placed Mohamed Salah, Harry Kane and Hirving Lozano on their list of potential replacements for Luis Suarez, according to Diario Gol.

The Catalan side are worried Suarez's best days are behind him and hope to land another attacker and see the Tottenham star as an ideal fit. However, with Salah shining at Liverpool and Lozano continuing to make headlines at PSV, they have several options.
