Leicester City’s manager, Claude Puel has charged his wantaway stars; Islam Slimani, Ahmed Musa and Riyad Mahrez to stay calm and not let the transfer window disturb them.
Musa is set for a reunion with his former club, CSKA Moscow on loan till the end before the transfer window closes according to his agent, Tony Harris.
And ahead of their fourth-round FA Cup tie with Peterborough United on Saturday afternoon, the French tactician has advised the players not allow the speculations affect them.
“It is, of course, a difficult period and sometimes a player can be disturbed but a lot of players are experienced and they know this period,” Puel told Leicester Mercury.
“For a young player it will be difficult to manage but it is not a problem from my experienced players.
“The transfer window is a period with a lot of speculation.
“It is normal. We have to manage this period with calm and give a good response and give our best for the team.
“If it is not possible then if it is about our player. It is a good thing because it shows there are good players with quality in the squad.
“I think in this moment it is a good period because we are getting good results.”
