Ghana head coach James Kwesi Appiah says the Black Stars will give their hosts Kenya a very good game.
The two sides come face to face on Saturday at Kasarani, with both aiming at getting maximum points and a perfect chance for progression. Despite the West African side coming in as favourites, the tactician thinks otherwise, and has warned his charges against over confidence.
“In football there is nothing like minnows, coming up with that mentality is like preparing to lose. We are here to give Kenya a good game and go for maximum points. They will be playing at home, and that means they have an advantage because the fans will be behind them,” Appiah told Goal.
Ghana started her campaign on a high note, after defeating Ethiopia 5-0. A brace from Raphael Dwamena and goals apiece from Gyan, Ebenezer Ofori and Boye were enough to hand Walya Antelopes a lesson.
The Black Stars will be aiming at getting maximum points against their hosts Kenya, who went down 2-1 away to Sierra Leone in their opener.
