AFC Leopards have released midfielder Shadreck Chimanya just two weeks after he joined the Den.

A source within Ingwe has confirmed to Goal that the Zambian winger had been dropped after failing to impress new coach Nikola Kavazovic. “It is true that Chimanya has been axed. He did not impress the coach hence the decision.”

The midfielder, who turned out for Chipolopolo during the reigns of coach Herve Renard, was the first foreign player to have signed for Ingwe from outside the KPL this season.
