John Comitis: Cape Town City will reject Mamelodi Sundowns' 'good offer' for Aubrey Ngoma

Mamelodi Sundowns will reportedly make another bid for Cape Town City midfielder Aubrey Ngoma during the upcoming PSL Transfer Window.

According to Independent Media, the Brazilians made three offers for Ngoma in the previous Transfer Window earlier this year, but they were all declined by the Citizens.

A source has since told the publication that Sundowns have not given up on signing the 28-year-old winger, who has scored once in four league games this season,.

“Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane is a big fan of Ngoma. He still wants him in his squad. Sundowns will put in another bid for him in this transfer window," the source said.

"They want to pay City the money and give them another player on top of that. They want to give City Kwanda Mngonyama for free, so that they can get Ngoma,” the source concluded.

However, City chairman John Comitis has maintained that the club is not willing to sell Ngoma.

“Nobody is leaving us. We are not selling any of our players, even if there’s a good offer," he said.

"All we want to do is to beef up our squad. I’m working very hard to secure three new signings,” Comitis concluded.

Ngoma, who recently returned from a long-term injury, and his City team-mates will take on Sundowns in a league match in Tshwane on Tuesday.
