Ulinzi Stars’ injury list continues to puff up ahead of the clash against Vihiga United in the FKF Shield on Sunday.

Coach Dunstan Nyaudo may miss up to five key players when he tours Mumias Complex.

Defender George Omondi and forwards Omar Boraafya and Mark Bikokwa are all out with knee injuries.

Omar Mbongi and Hassan Mohamed on the other hand, are doubtful after picking knocks in the final training session ahead of the round of 16 clash.

Nyaudo will now have to draft new strategies when he faces a side that he beat last weekend in a league competition.

”It is a major blow but these things happen in the game and we have to deal with them.

"The positive part of it is that we have a big enough squad, with very capable players and we will see how we jig the squad,” coach Nyaudo was quoted on the club portal.
