Egypt great Hossam Hassan has left his post as Al-Masry coach to join Pyramids FC, replacing Argentine Ricardo La Volpe.
His twin brother Ibrahim, who was Al-Masry technical director, has also quit, assuming the same role at Pyramids FC.

Hassan exits the club after they lost to Congolese giants AS Vita on a 4-0 aggregate scoreline last Wednesday. However, Al-Masry are disputing Hassan’s departure.
“Masry’s board unanimously rejects the resignation lodged a few hours ago by head coach Hossam Hassan and football director Ibrahim Hassan," Al-Masry said in a statement.
“The board is in a nonstop session to contact the Hassan twins in the coming hours to persuade them with the other members of the technical staff to remain in their posts to continue what they achieved in the past three seasons.”
Hassan and his bother had been at Al-Masry since July 2015.
