Gor Mahia captain Haron Shakava believes the seventeen-time Kenyan Premier League champions have what it takes to claim maximum points against Nyasa Big Bullets on Wednesday.
The two teams will face each other in the preliminary round of the Caf Champions League with the aggregate winner progressing to the next round. Shakava says the pre-season has been good and that the players are ready to do the job on the pitch.
“The pre-season has been good, we have shaped up well for the game and what is remaining is for us to show it on the pitch. Nyasa is a good side and that is why they are in this competition meaning we have to give absolutely everything from the first to the final whistle.
“We just have to ensure we take our chances, if we do so I am sure we will get a positive result.”
The match will kick-off from 7.00pm at the Kasarani Stadium and aggregate winner will face the winner between Cameroon side USM de Loum and Nigerian side Lobi Stars in the first round set for mid December.
