Gor Mahia flies to and from Kisumu as reality of fixtures congestion bites

K'Ogalo are top of the 18-team log with 52 points and a win over Sharks will see them open a 15 point lead at the summit

Gor Mahia will fly to Kisumu on Wednesday then fly back to Nairobi immediately after mid-week clash against Kariobangi Sharks.

Gor Mahia’s current form, both domestically and on the continental stages seems to be working against them as the undefeated KPL leaders grapple with congested fixtures.

Sharks’ match will be among the eight KPL fixtures that K’Ogalo will have to honour in August that will also see them play two continental matches.

“The team will fly to Kisumu at 7 am play and then fly back to Nairobi at 6 pm in preparation for our next match against Nakumatt,” Gor Mahia Secretary General Ben Omondi said.
