Gor Mahia were not involved in last weekend league action due to engagement in Caf Champions League

Gor Mahia captain Harun Shakava has once again appealed to fans to rally behind the team in their catch-up league match against Zoo FC.

K’Ogalo will travel to Kericho to take on the hosts on Thursday where a win will see them take control of the league table from Mathare United.

Gor Mahia were not in action last weekend due to their involvement in Caf Champions League. The defending champions will be hoping to pick up from where they after beating Nakumatt 4-0 in the opener.

But Shakava, clearly aware of the tough test that is ahead at the Kericho Green Stadium, appealed for back up from the ‘Green Army’.

“We need your support,” the newly appointed captain reached out.

Gor Mahia are currently fifth on the log while Zoo are 17th having lost 4-2 to Ulinzi Stars in the opening match.
