Still hurting from their failure to reach the World Cup play-offs, Al Hain-Cole expects the Dragons' misery to be compounded by Deschamps' side

Wales will be hoping for a morale-boosting win when they travel to the Stade de France to take on France in Friday’s friendly clash.

Having missed out on a place in the World Cup play-offs by losing at home to the Republic of Ireland in their last match, Chris Coleman’s men are available at 9/1 (10.00) with dabblebet to bounce back with an eye-catching win in Paris.

However, Les Bleus have only lost once in 22 fixtures on home soil, and are clear 1/4 (1.25) favourites to come out on top here.

Three of the guests’ last five away games have resulted in draws, and there are odds of 17/4 (5.25) on them claiming a share of the spoils in this one.

Having worked so hard to get themselves back into contention by winning four consecutive qualifiers, the loss at home to Ireland in the final group game will have come as a real blow for the Dragons.

The disappointment was more than evident as many of the players went straight down the tunnel after the final whistle in Cardiff, while Coleman himself has refused to commit himself to the job beyond the end of his contract at the end of this month.

While a high profile friendly victory would be ideal for lifting the spirits, it is hard to see that happening against Didier Deschamps’ star-studded home team - particularly without the injured Gareth Bale.

With Hal Robson-Kanu also one of numerous regulars ruled out, Coleman has included seven uncapped players in a rather inexperienced squad for the trip to the French capital, which looks ominous for a team that has lost each of their last five exhibition matches on the road, scoring just once in that run.

All in all, a French team boasting the likes of Antoine Griezmann, Kylian Mbappe and Alexandre Lacazette in attack should have little problem in winning by at least two goals, which you can back at 3/4 (1.75).
