After beating Chippa United 1-0 away from home, Orlando Pirates spotlessly cleaned their dressing room in Nelson Mandela Bay, Port Elizabeth.
Now one would normally celebrate the three points with a higher degree of excitement, but Bucs want to set an example on cleanliness and attitude.
Pirates have probably done this before, but one wonders if they were inspired by how the Japan national team spread their message of cleaning dressing rooms during the 2018 Fifa World Cup in Russia.
You can watch Pirates in cleaning action here. Then you can also read how the coach, Micho himself spoke about the importance of this task.
We sweep the shed. Some things go beyond football. Ours is to leave the shed better than when we found it. @orlandopirates is more than a football club. pic.twitter.com/MKpho132ou — Rulani Mokwena (@coach_rulani) August 8, 2018
