EXTRA TIME: Watch Nathan Paulse on Bafana's inconsistency

The former Ajax Cape Town player is asking what most of the fans want to know

Nathan Paulse praises South Africa for what he believes is their best performance in a long time, beating Burkina Faso 3-1 on the weekend.

Then he digs in to Bafana Bafana for not producing the same effort earlier in their Fifa World Cup qualification campaign.

Though, instead of Paulse making a sweeping generalization, he should've just asked why we were so poor against Cape Verde. After all, SA did well in their first two games against Burkina Faso and Senegal.

Bafana picked up a draw away to Burkina Faso and beat Senegal at home, even though the latter game has to be replayed due to corrupt refeering. Despite that fact, SA played well when Senegal visited.

Then South Africa were brilliant away to Nigeria in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. So, the real question is why they struggled against Cape Verde? Perhaps the latter team's defensive organization is better than Burkina Faso's?

For the most part SA's performed well and changing coaches doesn't help consistency.
