Meanwhile here's what Bafana Bafana midfielder Keagan Dolly said about their upcoming Four Nations final against Zambia on Saturday.
“Even though I wasn’t playing yesterday, I am fortunate enough to have played at that stadium with Sundowns through the Champions League. I know what the atmosphere is like there and know how hostile the crowd gets at times, so we need to be mentally strong. It definitely won’t be easy, so we just need to carry on from where we left off on Tuesday and play our normal game,” said Dolly to Safa.
The 25-year-old midfielder also welcomed the idea of getting younger players into the senior team and heaped praise on the current crop of players that have been called up, including Mothiba.
“We are building towards the future and it is so great to see new faces in the team who are gelling quite well and bringing a lot of energy to the squad. There is a lot of work that needs to be done and we are definitely on the right track with the introduction of youngsters into the senior team”.
