Interim coach Dennis Kitambi says the win and current position is what the team needs to progress. "We are currently in a good position and that means pressure on Gor Mahia.

"Right now we want to maintain our momentum and continue getting positive results. I am encouraged with my players, they have performed well and recorded vital wins.

"The focus now is on our next game, with three points in our minds," Kitambi told Goal.

AFC Leopards are joint top of the table with champions Gor Mahia on sixteen points.
