David Ochieng tips Harambee Stars to beat Ghana in Afcon qualifier

Harambee Stars defender David 'Cheche' Ochieng says the team is ready to step up and get a positive result against Ghana at Kasarani in the Afcon qualifying match.

The West African nation has better and experienced players as compared to their hosts who will miss some of their key players owing to injuries.

Cheche says that Stars are ready to push for victory at home.

"We respect Ghana for what they have achieved in the African football but on Saturday we will be 11 against eleven on the pitch, and we have to show our qualities too.

“We are stepping up this time around. We are ready and prepared for the match."

'Cheche' could be handed the armband in the absence of Captain Victor Wanyama and his assistant David Owino who has since been ruled out f the match.

The Black Stars lead Group F with three points, same as second-placed Sierra Leone who have an inferior goal difference.
