William Troost-Ekong has praised Bursaspor after they forced ten-man Kasimpasa to a 2-2 draw in a Turkish Super Lig encounter.
The Nigeria international who made his 12th start of the season was on hand to help his team deny Kemal Özdeş' men victory in dramatic fashion.
Compatriot Samuel Eduok and Ghana's Bernard Mensah had put Troost-Ekong's team on the back foot before late minute goals from Ertugrul Ersoy and Aziz Behich ensured Paul Le Guen's side left the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Stadium with a share of the spoils.
Elated by the last-gasp fightback, the defender took to the social media to praise the team for their doggedness in the clash.
“Great fighting spirit from the boys to get a point in the last minutes,” Troost-Ekong tweeted.
With the draw Bursaspor are sixth in the log with 17 points from 11 games, and will look to build on this outing when they confront Göztepe for their next tie on November 18.
